Kristen Stewart has confirmed she is starring opposite Ben Affleck in the Warner Bros. comedy "Focus." And it looks like the two are going to be steaming up the big screen with several make-out scenes.

Reports started surfacing about month ago that Affleck, 40, and Stewart, 22, were going to star in the film, one even saying the two actors share several kissing scenes, and at least one scene where they're both seen in bed together.

"I can confirm that rumor," Stewart told the Huffington Post of being cast in the film. "It's a comedy. I'm really excited about it. We start shooting in April." The "Twilight" star added that she hopes to work on a "micro-project" before "Focus" shooting begins "because April is kind of a ways away."

Of course, we know passionate kissing scenes are nothing new to Stewart -- even sex scenes, if you count the past two "Twilight" films, which featured suggestive PG-13-style love scenes between she and Robert Pattinson. But Stewart's new film "On The Road" -- coming out December 21 and based on the book by Jack Kerouac -- is jam packed with s-e-x. Stewart even appears topless in a few scenes. Chances are "Focus" won't surpass "Road" on the explicitness meter -- not that there's anything wrong with that.

In "Focus," Stewart is said to be playing a novice con artist who links up with Affleck's character who is much more experienced in the realm of con artistry. "Focus" is being written and directed by "Crazy, Stupid, Love" film-making duo Glenn Ficarra and John Requa. At one point the stars of that film -- Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling -- were attached to "Focus," MTV.com reports.

In mid-November Affleck told E! News he hoped Stewart would join the project because "she's terrific." Lest we forget, Stewart is not entirely new to comedy. She starred in the romantic dramady "Adventureland" with Jesse Eisenberg in 2009.

Stewart's latest film "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" was the No. 1 movie at the box office three weeks in a row starting November 16 and has so far earned $751 million worldwide.
