Jennifer Lawrence Geeks Out Over Jeff Bridges at Comic-Con

It's always nice to be reminded that movie stars can sometimes get starstruck, too.

Jennifer Lawrence was at the San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend to promote two of her upcoming films, "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past." J.Law couldn't talk much about the super-secret projects, though the delightfully eccentric and unpredictable star did reveal a little tidbit about herself that before the Con was otherwise unknown: She's quite the fan of Jeff Bridges, who was there to promote his upcoming fantasy film, "Seventh Son."

Lawrence saw Bridges giving an interview with Extra and gingerly approached him, only to lose her nerve and run away. She soon realized that Bridges and the Extra crew noticed her and came back, red-faced and flustered.

"Oh my God, I'm like your biggest fan, I'm so sorry," says Lawrence as she gives Bridges a hug, who seems genuinely flattered. "I'm so sorry for interrupting you, there's cameras everywhere."

The Extra crew found a terrific opportunity in the two stars meeting for the first time and handed Lawrence the microphone, inviting her to continue the interview with Bridges herself.

"What's your favorite movie you've ever done?" Asks a nervous Lawrence, forgetting to point the microphone toward Bridges. "Who's your favorite character? Does it rhyme with 'The Shmude'?"

Bridges moved the focus away from himself and instead gave some props to "Out of the Furnace," the new film by his friend Scott Cooper, who directed "Crazy Heart," the film for which Bridges won the Academy Award for Best Actor.

This adorable (adorkable?) incident is reminiscent of Jennifer Lawrence being approached by Jack Nicholson at the Academy Awards earlier this year, a brief encounter that made Lawrence gasp and giggle ... and engage in a brief flirting session with the notorious Hollywood lothario.

"I loved you in the movie ["Silver Linings Playbook"]. It was great. You look like an old girlfriend of mine," said the ever-grinning Jack.

"Oh really? Do I look like a new girlfriend?" asked Lawrence.

"I thought about it,"* replied Nicholson. "I'll be waiting."**

Does J.Law have a thing for the older guys or what?

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" will hit theaters on November 22, with Jeff Bridges' "Seventh Son" coming on January 17, 2014.
