Comic-Con 2012: ‘Breaking Dawn’ panel shows first 7 minutes of ‘Part 2′

Ravenous Twi-hards, many of whom have been camping out since Sunday, finally got what they were waiting for as Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and the rest of the fang gang made their way to Hall H for the "Twilight: Breaking Dawn — Part 2" Comic-Con panel.

Perhaps the biggest guest though was the smallest one, as Edward and Bella's baby Mackenzie Foy (aka Renesmee) sat sweetly by her parents' side. But while Renesmee may have caused quite the stir, by far the biggest applause came when director Bill Condon, via video, announced they'd be showing the first seven minutes of the film.

Fans were delighted with this first look, which begins with Bella waking up as a red-eyed vampire, and boy is she hungry. But before she feasts on blood, Edward feasts his eyes on her new sparkly look.

Of course, Bella is also very curious to see her daughter. But before Edward can let Bella see Renesmee, Bella must feed, so as not to feed on her young.

Edward escorts Bella into the woods to hunt. Bella stretches her new vampire legs at a supersonic rate. As Bella goes after a deer, she's distracted by a mountain climber who scrapes himself. Bella sniffs and instantly goes after him!

Before Bella can dine though, she's pulled away by Edward, because humans aren't kosher. So instead, Bella goes back for the deer. Just as she's about to strike, a cougar flies through the air to get his own meal. But when you mess with a vampire's dinner, you become dinner. And the fans in Hall H loved it.

After Bella feasts, she and Edward head back home to see Renesmee. Before they can enter, protective and gorgeous Jacob (Taylor Lautner) lays his eyes on Bella as a vampire for the first time. He's surprised by how much she looks like herself.

Before Jacob allows Bella to see her daughter, he makes her smell him, to make sure Bella won't eat him. He stinks, but she's not hungry for him. So he lets her inside. Fade to black. Rapturous applause!
