  • Jennifer Lawrence’s Big Revelations During #YahooCatchingFire

Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer interviewing Jennifer Lawrence & Francis Lawrence of Lionsgate's 'The Hunger Games'.

Not only do Yahoos based in Sunnyvale, CA get great food, they also get great guests!

Today, as part of the Global Social Day for "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," star Jennifer Lawrence and director Francis Lawrence participated in a Tumblr Ask (and also took questions from Yahoo employees) moderated by Yahoo's CEO, Marissa Mayer. As we've come to expect from the Oscar winning actress, her answers were candid, self-effacing, insightful, and down-right funny.

    Here's what we learned:

    She actually thinks she's annoying:

She has plenty to cringe about:

There's a story behind that haircut:

She's got whacked in the butt with a trident:

She's not afraid to speak her mind:

Jen had as much trouble with Katniss's wedding dress as she did with her Oscars dress:

She crushed on JT, big-time, and she used to love another Lawrence:

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" opens on Nov. 22, but you can watch all the stars gather at our Los Angeles premiere red carpet livestream on Monday, Nov. 18 at 9 p.m.

  • Look Out, Luke: New ‘Star Wars’ Movie Characters Leaked!

Get ready for two brand new characters in that galaxy far, far away.

A Disney casting call has "Star Wars" watchers abuzz after all but revealing two lead characters in the upcoming, hugely anticipated follow-up to 1983's "Return of the Jedi."

Who are these new "Star Wars" players, you ask? They're young, in their late teens, and they've both endured childhood parental absence.

[Related: 'Star Wars' Shakeup — Episode VII Returns to a Jedi]

While the Disney casting notice doesn't name the film's title outright, Yahoo Movies and other outlets have connected the dots, and they form a big arrow pointing to J.J. Abrams's "Star Wars: Episode VII," set to open in 2015. (You see, these castings are being conducted around England — where "Episode VII" is the only Disney film in pre-production.)

"Rachel," a probable pseudonym, is the young woman's role. Her requirements include beauty, intelligence, athleticism, and she must be over 16 years old. And if you think she could be the daughter of one

  • Michael Keaton in "Beetlejuice"Michael Keaton in "Beetlejuice" (Photo Credit: Everett Collection)

Well, it's not an official press release, but when it comes to anything involving the Ghost with the Most, we'll take every little tidbit we can get.

Hollywood is getting closer to conjuring "Beetlejuice 2," with the man behind the makeup, Michael Keaton, now chiming in. The veteran actor and criminally underutilized national treasure was approached on the street by an exhausting TMZ crew about whether or not we'll be seeing the further big-screen adventures of the Juilliard-trained 'bio-exorcist.'

"Is it a go, is it a green light?" pesters the TMZ reporter, to which Keaton replied, "That's what they're telling me."

Yeah, it's not exactly a confirmation, but at least it's better than "I haven't heard anything about it," which, quite honestly, was the response we were kind of expecting.

New rumors about the project are already flying high, including one that has pop star and Smurfette vocalist Katy Perry attached. Keaton didn't confirm or deny her involvement, though he did express his

  • Excelsior! Ms. Marvel Reborn as Muslim-American Teenager

Ms. Marvel (Artist: Adrian Alphona)Ms. Marvel (Artist: Adrian Alphona)

Here's a strong candidate for the key recruit in "Marvel's The Avengers 3" ... or, dare we say it, the star of her own stand-alone film?

One of Marvel's most popular characters is getting a major makeover as a brand-new interpretation of Ms. Marvel will be hitting comic book stands next month. And emphasis on the "brand-new," as our new female superhero bears little to no resemblance to her predecessor.

The new Ms. Marvel is Kamala Khan, a 16-year-old Muslim-American teenager living in Jersey City and struggling with her parents' high expectations regarding a future she has little interest in. Then, one day, she's suddenly bestowed with super-powers and, well, that pretty much changes everything.

The first Ms. Marvel was Carol Danvers, a highly skilled Air Force major and CIA

  • Ron Burgundy Responsible for Huge Increase in Car Sales

Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy in Dodge Durango ad (AP Photo/Chrysler)

Ron Burgundy's influence goes far beyond the confines of San Diego.

After the "Anchorman" character created by Will Ferrell became the spokesman for the 2014 Dodge Durango, sales of the re-engineered vehicle climbed a whopping 59 percent in October and are up 50 percent for the year, Ad Age reports. No, we're not making this up.

In fact, Edmunds.com analyst Michelle Krebs verified that shopping for the Durango "soared" since the ads launched on Oct. 5, which makes all these numbers totally legit.

Burgundy, who appears clad in his signature leisure suit, has increased web traffic by 80 percent, Dodge brand boss Tim Kuniskis confirmed. "Durango sales have been very strong this year," he explained, "and the Ron Burgundy Durango ads are absolutely building on that momentum."

What's even more impressive, however, is the fact that so far Dodge has only unveiled nine videos, which, it turns out, is only a fraction of what Ferrell shot on behalf of the car for Funny or Die.

    "We went into

  • What would you say is the seminal scene in Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey"?

We're willing to bet you didn't take more than three guesses to at least consider the moment when Bilbo (Martin Freeman) engages in a battle of wits and riddles with Gollum (Andy Serkis).

You're not the only one who thinks highly of it. "I loved that, absolutely loved it. And I'm so glad it's kind of gone over well. I do think it's a highlight of the film, 'cause it's a highlight of the book," Freeman told Yahoo Movies last year.

In our exclusive Blu-ray clip above, which can be found in the new "Hobbit" Extended Edition, you can find out exactly how director Peter Jackson captured the essence of that scene by repeatedly shooting it over a 10-day period. If you're a fan of Middle-earth, it's fascinating stuff. And it's just one minute of the nearly nine hours of extras.

To celebrate today's release of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Extended Edition" – which also includes an extra 13 minutes of new film footage – we're doing a giveaway! Five lucky Yahoo Movies Twitter followers will each receive a Blu-ray copy of the new Extended Edition.

  • Hugh Jackman on How He’s ‘Boring’ and His New Musical Offer

Want to get on Hugh Jackman’s good side? Appreciate that while the 45-year-old Australian's role as a desperate father who brutalizes his missing daughter’s alleged kidnapper (Paul Dano) in "Prisoners" is getting a lot of awards buzz, it's not that much of a departure from his popular superhero, Wolverine.

"A lot of people said I didn’t play a character like Keller Dover before but I think I did a similar role," Jackman, who described himself as even-tempered, even boring on the phone, explained to Yahoo Movies when we mentioned that we thought his portrayal of Wolverine was also intensely dramatic. "Director James Mangold was so on me every day with 'The Wolverine.' It was so interior. It’s easier to be flashier or quick, but Wolverine is masking a lot of hidden pain. Thanks for noticing. A lot of people don’t. A lot of characters I play are very different from me."

And sometimes those characters sing. Jackman admits to still regretting turning down "Chicago" and spills the beans on

  • Nick Jonas in "Careful What You Wish For"Nick Jonas in "Careful What You Wish For" (YouTube)

One-third of the Jonas Brothers is about to learn the hard way that you never, ever mess with a man's trophy wife.

It would appear that Nick Jonas is all grown up and ready to break free from his squeaky-clean Disney image with a starring role in "Careful What You Wish For," an erotic thriller that warns of the deadly consequences of lusting after Isabel Lucas.

The first teaser for the film is barely 23 seconds long, but it efficiently summarizes what it's all about: Nick plays a guy who's envious of Dermot Mulroney's many lavish possessions, not the least of which is his bikini-clad bride who's at least 20 years his junior. Soon, she's committing adultery with a Jonas Brother, and Mulroney doesn't look too happy about it.

It's an equal opportunity kind of titillating teaser, as you get shots of both Jonas and Lucas emerging from the sea in swimwear. How can these two youngsters resist one another?

Not that there needs to be, but there's actually more to the plot. IMDb describes
