Anna Kendrick gets Twitter love for Gosling-inspired self-love

Perhaps inspired by her lookalike celebrity Tina Fey -- who laid down the awards show host gauntlet at Sunday night's Golden Globes -- Anna Kendrick took to Twitter this morning with a very very personal and hilarious admission.

@AnnaKendrick47 tweeted on Monday, "Ugh - NEVER going to a Ryan Gosling movie in a theater again. Apparently masturbating in the back row is still considered 'inappropriate.'"

Judging from the 10,000-plus retweets and favorites (and counting), Kendrick's 115-character note, um, touched a whole lot of nerves.

Kendrick wasn't much for tweeting last year until around the time her choral comedy "Pitch Perfect" came out in the fall. She has been steadily adding her contributions to the Twitterverse ever since, honing her comedy chops. (Seriously, if ever there was a Tina Fey biopic, Kendrick already has the proper resemblance and the writerly traits in common with the "30 Rock" star to pull off such a role.)

Something tells us Kendrick's fascination with Ryan Gosling -- one of the stars of "Gangster Squad" -- is all for laughs. She's been reportedly dating her "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" director Edgar Wright since 2009.

As proof of her reignited interest in the social media site, here's another recent Kendrick tweet:

And for those of you questioning the power of Gosling's gaze, just take a gander at our recent interview with him. Yes, I can confirm, he is that dreamy in person, too.
