Muppet Mania! Man Sings 'Rainbow Connection' in 12 Muppet Voices

Kermit the Frog has some stiff competition in the singing department.

The most famous Muppet character's classic song, "Rainbow Connection," was just covered by a man named Brock Baker, who sang the classic diddy better than ever in 12 different Muppet voices.

Baker, who calls himself the Man of a Kajillion Voices, kicked off the tune with Kermit's voice before continuing into the voices of Miss Piggy, The Swedish Chef, Gonzo, Animal, Fozzie the Bear, Statler and Waldorf, Rowlf the Dog, Beaker, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, and Camilla the Chicken.

He closed out his YouTube video by joking (in the voices of Statler and Waldorf) about how bad his performance was. We beg to differ.

Baker told Yahoo that he practiced for several weeks before he shot the video, but he's been doing "The Muppets" voices for years. "I watched The Muppets a lot growing up, so I've probably been doing the voices forever. Actually trying to do them well; maybe a few years," Baker shared. "I think they're all fairly easy to sing. Animal may be a bit tough though."

The song was written by Paul Williams and Kenneth Ascher, and was originally performed by Kermit (Jim Henson) in "The Muppet Movie" in 1979. Williams and Ascher received Oscar nominations for their work and it has since become one of the most recognizable tunes of the Muppets franchise.

Covering famous songs in numerous voices is nothing new. Last month, a man belted out "Let It Go" from "Frozen" using the voices of 21 different Disney characters, which capped off dozens of YouTube variations of the song. Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" was covered by a YouTube star who sang the smash hit in 20 styles, including Nirvana and Michael Jackson. So, who could blame Baker for capitalizing on the trend?

Regardless of the rip off, we're pretty sure Kermit is supremely impressed with Baker right now.
