Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson on the Stresses of Suiting Up for ‘The Winter Soldier’

Introducing "The Yahoo Movie Show," our new daily series bringing you the best in breaking movies news, celebrity interviews, flashbacks to the classics, and more.

For his third appearance as Captain America, Chris Evans has got the superhero look down pat and has completely embraced the evolution of the crimefighter's costume. In "Captain America: The First Avenger," he wore the old-fashion utilitarian model in all its red, white and blue glory; then in "The Avengers" the star-spangled suit got an updated look; and now in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," we have a darker, less colorful, and more stealth suit.

And according to Evans, the latest incarnation is pretty easy to put on and take off, save for one piece.

"It's nice being in the suit but when you see that cowl coming, you're like, 'Aww man, this thing?'" Evans told Yahoo Movies. "You'd be surprised, doing a fight scene in that thing, you start sweating."

Wardrobe assembly and maintenance was not a problem, however, for Scarlett Johansson, who plays accomplished assassin Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow. Unlike the usual stereotype that comes with the complexities involved with women's wear, her suit was the easiest to get in and out of.

"Oh that thing peels right off," Johansson said proudly. "I have a lot less time in the hair and makeup trailer than any of these guys. They're actors for Christ's sake, they require a lot of primping."

Evans conceded that he and his co-stars Anthony Mackie — whose Falcon costume required 45 minutes to put on with the help of three people — and Sebastian Stan might have had a lot more pieces to worry about than she did this time around.

"Yeah hers looks like it's all one piece," Evans said. "This thing has like three separate layers and buttons and straps in the back, it's a nightmare. But it's worth it, look how cool it looks."

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" opens everywhere April 4.
