On February 6, Cartier announced that global ambassador Jisoo would star in a new campaign for the 100-year anniversary of the iconic Trinity ring alongside Paul Mescal, Jackson Wang, Yara Shahidi, and Labrinth. To honor such a special occasion, Cartier also held a special celebration in Paris, France, and Jisoo definitely dressed for the part.
The “Flower” singer wore an elegant floor-length gown that was rich with details. It featured a strapless neckline, emphasized by a figure-hugging corseted bodice that juxtaposed the column skirt. Most notably, the dress was a sleek black velvet material that shined in the light.
For jewelry, Jisoo opted for a layered necklace and paired it with matching drop earrings, each having three rows of diamonds. While she skipped a bracelet, she did wear a stacked ring with four layers of diamonds. We expected no less at a Cartier party.
As for glam, she kept it simple and elegant. On her nails, she wore a trendy milk manicure. She went with a timeless makeup look, including a soft pink eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, subtle rosy blush and a glossy neutral lip. She wore her hair in an elegant half-up, half-down look, with the top layers pulled back on each side of the middle part and twisted into two ponytails that fell into place with the rest of her long straight black hair.
Other attendees at the Paris celebration included Jisoo’s fellow Cartier brand ambassadors and Trinity stars Sahidi and Wang. Other global celebs like Manu Rios, Úrsula Corberó, and Jeff Satur also made appearances.
This is just the latest of BLACKPINK’s major fashion moments. Though we’re only two months into the year, the K-pop girl group has already given us plenty. In January, Lisa and Rihanna had a stylish run-in. Earlier this month, Jennie put a trendy twist on the classic little black dress. We’re looking forward to seeing what else the girl group has in store for us this year.
