Get ready to venture back into the kingdom of Wakanda because a new trailer for the highly anticipated “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is here.
In the action-packed trailer, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (Florence Kasumba) fight to protect their grief-gripped nation from looming threats as darkness grows following King T’Challa’s death. The spot teases how a new, menacing world power will emerge from the hidden undersea kingdom, Talokan, to strike Wakanda while they’re mourning and unprepared for battle.
Audiences also get a glimpse of a new Black Panther, who appears to be a woman in a suit, as well as the hero Ironheart flying in her Iron Man-inspired armor.
The film stars Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Wright as Shuri, Gurira as Okoye, Florence Kasumba as Ayo, Duke as M’Baku, Bassett as Queen Ramonda and Martin Freeman as Everett Ross, all reprising their roles from “Black Panther,” the history-making first film of the franchise. Tenoch Huerta plays Namor, the king of Talokan and the sequel’s main antagonist. The sequel also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena and Alex Livinalli.
“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” is directed by Ryan Coogler and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore.
