Billie Eilish changes her hair again: See the star's blonde to brunette transformation

The "Ocean Eyes" remain the same but the hair has changed again for Billie Eilish.

Eilish made her music debut with silver hair in 2016, became a household name while rocking an electric green-to-black ombre style then shook the internet earlier this year with a platinum blonde makeover ahead of her "Happier Than Ever" album release. Now she's revealing new tresses to fans again, showing off her new brunette locks in a recent Instagram post.

"Miss me?," the singer captioned her big reveal.

"Omggggg you’re so fineeeee," @ximslopez wrote in the comments.

@wishuwereebillie commented: "THATS LOOKS SO GOOD IM IN LOVE."

Actress Ariana Greenblatt commented, "WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT."

The 19-year-old Grammy winner told Elle in an October cover story she made the switch to blonde hair in March partly because of the unrelenting attention her chartreuse locks would attract, particularly from paparazzi.

“I couldn’t go anywhere with that hair because it was so obviously me,” Eilish told the outlet. “I wanted anonymity.”

While the transition to brown hair may help the star blend in more away from the limelight, her fellow Grammy nominee Olivia Rodrigo gave the change an "omg" reaction in the comments.

Meghan Gillen, an associate professor of psychology at Penn State Abington, who studies developmental psychology and body image, said this change in appearance is typical of the “identity shift” found in someone Eilish’s age.

“Good for her for changing (her appearance) — she should be able to do what she wants with it,” Gillen told USA TODAY in May following the singer's switch to blonde.
