Bill Murray Has Been Stealing People's Fries Again

Next time you order fries, be vigilant, people.

Chip fan Bill Murray was snapped over the weekend at Martha’s Vineyard Airport in the US helping himself to a stranger’s order.

Uploading the snap as evidence of the theft, the picture has now gone viral, having been viewed well over 200,000 times at the time of publishing.

According to the Reddit poster, Murray ‘seemed like he was just getting his friends to the airport; flight was delayed so they went for a bite’, and the brazen thievery ‘gave everyone in the restaurant a good laugh’.

They added: “He walked in with a (very good looking) man and woman, and a few heads had turned when they came in. They took a fairly private spot, but I had a clear sideways view and could see him occasionally looking around the room in a rather obvious way. I thought about asking for an autograph, my friend dissuaded me.”

Whether the post’s viral-ness increases the likelihood of prosecution, we’re really not sure.

The 65-year-old ‘Ghostbusters’ legend has form in this area, rumour has it.

Among the various urban legends surrounding Murray is one another fan posted on Reddit some six years ago.

Murray stole some of their fries too on the corner of 46th and 7th Street in New York.

Reportedly uttering the immortal words ‘no one will believe you’, Murray was away into the night.

Another poster on Reddit confirmed this predilection too.

“He did this to me at In & Out in Burbank 4 years ago. No one believed me. This post is my own proof that he does in fact do this,” they wrote.

Beware then, folks. No fried snacks are safe while Murray remains at large.
