Bilingual employees are in high demand in Fort Worth. Here are some places to apply

Tarrant County is home to more than 600,000 Hispanic or Latino residents and multiple health care, education and finance companies that are looking for Spanish-speaking employees.

More than a quarter of Tarrant County residents 5 years and older speak a language other than English at home.

By far the most common non-English language spoken is Spanish. More than 20% of the people who live in Tarrant County are native Spanish speakers, according to U.S. Census Bureau data from 2019.

Here are some examples of places that require or prefer bilingual candidates:

Healthcare:

The JPS Health Network is looking for a bilingual patient access operator, care navigator, referral authorization specialist, security officer and more in Fort Worth.

Cook Children’s Health Care System is hiring a patient advocate interpreter in Fort Worth.

Texas Health Resources is hiring a language interpreter in Fort Worth.

Biolife Plasma Services is looking for candidates for multiple positions, including health screeners and plasma center technicians in Fort Worth, Arlington and Burleson.

Fort Worth ISD is hiring multiple positions, including bilingual teachers, teacher assistants, a coordinator, testers and more.

Arlington ISD is hiring multiple positions, including bilingual teachers, clerks, kindergarten assistants, testers and more.

Keller ISD is hiring bilingual teachers and aides.

Government:

The City of Fort Worth is hiring several positions, including a librarian, code compliance supervisor and multiple assistant positions.
