Big Changes are Coming to Anti Social Social Club

Known in equal parts for its coveted hoodies and excruciating shipping delays, Los Angeles-based brand Anti Social Social Club is an outlier in the streetwear world. Despite the aforementioned fulfillment issues— that in all fairness are to be expected of a small brand (to an extent)— ASSR has maintained a loyal global following.

According to The Business of Fashion, ASSR was recently acquired by Marquee Brands, a licensing firm that also manages Martha Stewart and BCBGMAXAZRIA labels. Chief Executive Neil Fiske spoke on the acquisition in a statement to BoF.

"Our plan is to let ASSC be ASSC – with no intent to change the brand DNA, values, or culture. We’re providing capital and operating platforms to help them grow. They’ll remain as entrepreneurial, creative, contrarian and weird as they’ve always been."

Only time will tell what these additional resources mean for Anti Social Social Club. New product ranges? Brick and mortars? Stay tuned for details as they develop.
