Best Universities for Blockchain 2022: King's College London

At King’s College London (KCL), the FinWork Futures Research Center examines the challenges and opportunities blockchain may lead. Similarly, the Finance Hub is focused on applied research of financial technology and distributed ledgers. Both centers are continuously contributing to the publication of blockchain research papers. Since 2019, its scholars have already published 54.

The centers host conferences and events such as the FinWork Futures Research Centre Seminars, which recently features topics such as "Regulating Decentralization" and "Cryptocracy: The Quest to Replace Politics with Technology."

In the classroom, KCL offers four blockchain courses. But have the opportunity to obtain a masters in computational finance with an optional module on distributed ledgers and crypto-currencies, or a masters in law and technology, which includes a module on cryptocurrencies and blockchain: technological advances and legal challenges. KCL Blockchain Society has partnered with Adaptiv to offer a Blockchain 101 certificate.

Students have formed the Fintech Society and Cryptocurrency Society to pursue their curiosity about blockchain outside the classroom.
