Best bar accessories to create an enviable at-home bar

 (Graham & Green)
(Graham & Green)

It may only be a matter of time before pubs, clubs and restaurants reopen, but after a year of creating the perfect home bar, we’re far from closing the doors on our personal stash.

Lockdown saw sales of alcohol and home bar equipment soar, and as the pandemic wore on, we’ve added more bells and whistles to the point where all we need is a burly bouncer or two to be considered a fully functioning watering hole.

From cocktail-aiding kits to fun optics for spirits and even a machine to help you pour the perfect pint, there are myriad ingenious products to recreate your dream saloon without stepping a foot outdoors.

Get them now for enjoying at home, and for nightcaps once the world hits play again.

Here are our favourite products, bar none.

Louxor Brass-Coloured Corrugated Metal and White Marble Bar

If you have the space and the money, why not have an actual bar installed at home? Looking as though it’s been transported from one of London’s swankiest bars, the mango wood frame is wrapped in gold-coloured corrugated metal and topped with chic marble - the perfect setting for your drinks. The back is left open for easy access to your tools, glasses and bottles from the integrated holder. That’ll give your mates something to talk about when they’re able to pop round.

Design legend Jonathan Adler does it best; his set of Versailles patterned coasters will bring the feel of an exclusive members-only club to your set-up.

Woodluv Lazy Susan Revolving Bamboo Round Tray with Removable Dividers

One of the best things we’ve spent money on, this bamboo turntable currently sits in our larder and is home to our collection of hot sauces, oils and seasoning. Thanks to the removable dividers, it could just as easily serve as a drinks caddy too.

There’s space in the central ceramic bowl for citrus slices and while it can’t handle full sized bottles, it will keep bitters, mini mixers, cocktail umbrellas and smaller essentials safe inside its high sides. Measures: 33.5cm x 7cm.

For your home bar, Come As You Are fits the mood. If you’re after something specific, bespoke pieces are available too.
