Ben Affleck Was Reportedly Furious With Poor Batman V Superman Reviews

‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ was divisive to say the least. Fans and critics alike were left underwhelmed by the blockbuster hybrid, which currently has the lowly score of just 27% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Obviously Warner Bros. and everyone connected with the film weren’t very happy with this response. In fact it’s now been alleged that Ben Affleck, who made his debut as Batman in the film, was furious with the reception.

According to Birth.Movies.Death’s sources “Affleck was incredibly unhappy about the reception of ‘BvS’. He felt humiliated after spending so much of the press tour saying how much better this film would be than ‘Daredevi’l.”

But, rather worryingly, there’s another reason why Ben Affleck and his agent are annoyed with Warner Bros. The pair were livid that the studio and their CEO Kevin Tsujihara “jumped the gun and announced him as the director of The Batman – there were still negotiations happening.”

Ben Affleck’s displeasure with the negative reviews for ‘Batman V Superman’ was originally revealed during on interview with Yahoo Movies, with a video of an instantly depressed Affleck going viral.

His anger is hardly surprising considering that Affleck allegedly worked on the script for ‘Batman V Superman’ while in his costume on the set of the film.

But it wasn’t all bad for Affleck. Because while ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ was met with poor reviews, it was widely agreed that Ben Affleck was the best part of the film.

We’ll get to see more of Affleck’s Batman rather soon, too, as he will make an appearance in ‘Suicide Squad’ on August 5th, while his own solo Batman feature film is currently in development at Warner Bros.
