Ben Affleck has spoken out saying he's "in awe" of Jennifer Lopez, in a rare interview discussing Jen and her work.

The new comments come after the pair finally became red carpet official at Venice Film Festival earlier this month, following weeks of speculation over their rekindled romance.

And now, it's just like old times as Ben has been busy gushing about Jen - and his comments are so lovely.

Speaking to AdWeek, who have named Jennifer the winner of their Brand Visionary Award, Ben told the publication he is "in awe" of Jen's work and her impact on the world.

Praising Jennifer for her achievements, he said, "All I can tell you is that I have seen first hand the difference representation makes because I have seen, over and over and over and over, women of colour approach Jennifer and tell her what her example as a strong woman and a woman succeeding and demanding her fair share in the business world means to them.

"I am in awe of what Jennifer’s effect on the world is," he continued. "At most, as an artist, I can make movies that move people. Jennifer has inspired a massive group of people to feel they have a seat at the table in this country. That is an effect few people throughout history have had, one I will never know and one I can only stand by and admire with respect."

Almost 20 years after the pair's original romance between the years 2002 to 2004, rumours of a Bennifer reconciliation sparked earlier this year following Ben and Jen's splits from their respective partners Ana de Armas and A-Rod.

Since then, we've seen numerous pics of the pair partaking in a fair bit of PDA, before they eventually made their red carpet debut together at Venice Film Festival earlier in September, and then again at the 2021 Met Gala.

We can't wait to hear more from these two.
