Make beautiful paintings using these household items

You don’t need to be a professional painter to make a stunning work of art! All you need are a few everyday household items. If you’re looking for a fun way to exercise your creativity but aren’t sure where to start, try one of these painting hacks using household items. These simple hacks are sure to be a hit with kids and grown-ups alike!

Painting Hack 1: Paint Flowers Using Bubble Wrap

If painting techniques like shading and texture aren’t your strong suit, use bubble wrap to add texture instead! To make an adorable painted flower using bubble wrap, start by cutting a piece of bubble wrap into a circle. Then, paint the bubble side using the color of your choice and press it firmly onto a black canvas. Repeat this process with a few other colors, then use a cotton swab to add dots of white paint. Blend the white paint with the colorful paint to create shading, then simply paint on some leaves and stems. Add some colorful decorative dots in the background for good measure, and your painting is complete!

Painting Hack 2: Paint Trees Using Cotton Balls

Paint lifelike trees using cotton balls! Use a pencil to trace the outlines of your trees on a piece of paper, then dot the tips of the branches with colorful paint. Use white and light blue paint dots to add in colors for the sky and water, and blend them together with a paintbrush. Then, grab a cotton ball and use it to dab the paint dots to create the trees’ leaves. Add some white paint to add depth, then use a paintbrush to transform the bottoms of the trees into reflections in the water. Finish the painting by adding some branches with black and white paint.

Painting Hack 3: Use Plastic Cups to Paint Bubbles

Create a fun and cheerful bubble painting featuring perfectly circular bubbles using plastic cups! Start by painting the rim of a plastic cup white, then press it onto a black canvas to create the outline of your bubbles. Repeat this process with different-sized plastic cups. Then, paint on thick strokes of white paint, followed by colors to create a prismatic effect inside of each bubble. Add a few dots and stars to the background and your painting is ready to frame!
