This show stealing Batmobile can headline your movie car collection.

Collecting cars with ties to the big and small screens have always been a popular thing to do. While there’s only so many original movie cars from the actual film and tv shows out there, there’s a lot of really high quality replicas out there for you to own, if you don’t want to build your own replica. Such is the case with this Gotham Cruiser Batmobile based on a 1968 Lincoln chassis.

The build of this Batmobile started in 2003 with a vision to make a viable replica. It was completed in 2008 and built to the specifications of the episode number one vehicles. Since the build was complete, there has only been less than 75 miles put on the car. The Doug Hines body was molded of George Barris’ no. 3 Batmobile.

Powering the build is a massive 400 cubic inch engine that moves the 127.2 inch wheel base Lincoln. It has a radar, wheels, Batscope, rocket tubes, and Bat Phone to put you in the spirit. You can even make it shoot propane powered flames. The driver’s door was signed by Adam West (with photograph) and passenger door signed by Burt Ward who rode in the car (with photograph). There’s also a photograph of Catwoman Julie Newmar riding in the car. On the more practical side, it has a new battery, water pump, alternator, starter, radiator, and brakes.

This vehicle will be sold during the Zephyrhills Classic Car Auction October 29-30. Vendors will also be on site. Please visit https://www.zhillsclassiccarauction.com for more information and to see additional vehicles for sale.
