Batman V Superman Won’t Address Man Of Steel Criticism

A lot of people are very, very excited about ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice’. A lot of people also had huge problems with its predecessor ‘Man Of Steel’.

But Henry Cavill, who stars as Superman in these blockbusters, has insisted that ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ won’t address the criticism that came ‘Man Of Steel’s’ way. Instead it’s just going to carry on as normal.

Speaking to Cineplex, the English actor remarked, “The reception of my first Superman movie, from what I’ve read, was fairly mixed. Everyone I’ve spoken to enjoyed the movie, but [not] unlike if you’re going to meet a stranger in the street, they’re not going to badmouth you to your face.”

Cavill added, “There’s no intentional move, I don’t think, in ‘Batman v Superman’ to address any issues that people had with ‘Man Of Steel’. It’s just a continuation of that storyline and they continue to develop that world and introduce new characters.”

Some moviegoers were peeved that Kal-El killed General Zod at the conclusion of ‘Man Of Steel’, while they also had a problem with Zack Snyder’s explosive and a bit too fast-paced approach, as well as Cavill’s performance as Clark Kent too.

But even though Cavill insists that no intentional move has been made to address these concerns, you can rest assure that the entire movie will have upped its game as Warner Bros. look to expand their DC universe.

‘Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ is just the first film of many in this burgeoning world, and it will soon be followed by solo outings for Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Flash, and Shazam! too. Watch out Marvel.
