Whether dropping the mic at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner or here dancing with stormtroopers – Barack has the air of man who has taken his feet off the pedals and is shouting ‘weeee!’ as he zips downhill towards the end of his final term in office.

Celebrating Star Wars Day, as the commander-in-chief is seemingly required to do, he and the First Lady got down with some Storm Troopers and R2-D2 at the White House yesterday.

Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk’ was the track which ushered in May 4th on Capitol Hill, now known as Star Wars Day (may the fourth be with you, etc), with the Obamas.

Tweeting the video from the official White House feed, the geekdom was complete: “Dance. Or dance not. There is no try. #MayThe4thBeWithYou.”

Yoda would have been proud.

South Africa's health insurance law set to face legal challenges
South Africa's main opposition party, joined by some labour and business groups, said on Tuesday it would go to court to fight a bill aimed at providing universal health coverage, which President Cyril Ramaphosa is set to sign into law on Wednesday. Ramaphosa has vowed to reform South Africa's two-tier health system, in which a publicly funded sector that serves most of the population is overcrowded and run-down, while some people can access better treatment through private insurance. The government's National Health Insurance Bill would gradually limit the role of private insurance, create a new public fund to provide access for everyone, and set the fees that private doctors can charge.
