Arsenal will look to kickstart a fresh unbeaten run against Newcastle on Saturday lunchtime after having their ten-game streak ended by Liverpool last weekend.

On paper, the visit of the Premier League’s bottom side and one who are yet to win this season looks a favourable quick-fire return to action though this incarnation of Newcastle are a different beast to the one who lost 3-0 in North London under Steve Bruce in January.

The sample size may be small but their 3-3 draw with Brentford at least suggested they will offer much more going forward this time around.

Prior to Sunday’s loss at Anfield, these were the kind of games Mikel Arteta’s side were winning with relative ease, so a strong performance would at least suggest their recent run of form has helped create a solid platform on which to build for the future.

Date, kick-off time and venue

The Premier League game is scheduled for a 12.30pm GMT kick-off on Saturday 27 November, 2021.

The Emirates Stadium in London will host.

While Newcastle can surely expect some improvement under the stewardship of Eddie Howe (albeit remotely at the moment), no team in the Premier League have conceded more often than them this season.

For that reason, Arsenal should win.
