Arnold Schwarzenegger has been involved in a multi-vehicle car crash in Los Angeles, according to reports.

The former bodybuilder was driving a Yukon SUV on Sunset Boulevard when it collided with a red Prius at around 4.35pm on Friday.

His SUV reportedly ended up on top of the Prius and then rolled into a Porsche Cayenne.

Police have confirmed that one woman was taken to hospital with an abrasion to her head.

An eyewitness told news outlet TMZ that the crash “looked like a stunt in a movie”.

A spokesperson for Mr Schwarzenegger told the BBC that the actor was behind the wheel of his SUV at the time of the incident, but was unharmed.

Neither alcohol or drugs are suspected to be involved, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

“There was a collision about 4.35 on Sunset and Allenford Avenue,” an LAPD spokespersons said.

“It was a four vehicle traffic collision (and) fire departments and paramedics transported one female to a local hospital with an abrasion to her head.

“Neither alcohol nor drugs are suspected as a factor in this and all parties remained at the scene.”
