Ariana Grande is unrecognisable after giving herself a makeover

Well, this is a bit of a dream collaboration, isn't it? Legendary singer Ariana Grande just ditched her signature winged eyeliner and gave herself an all-new makeover, based on one of our favourite drag artists, Gottmik (who is currently in the running to take the crown on the latest season of RuPaul's Drag Race in America). Scream!

Gottmik, a professional make-up artist and the first transgender male to compete on the show, is known for having a stand-out black and white beat, with an all-white base covering the face, thin drawn-on brows and black lips, with dark eyes too. It's certainly not an easy lewk to recreate, but Ariana gave it her best shot and shared the results on her Instagram Stories, along with her love for Gottmik too.

Captioning the first clip, Ariana wrote "@Gottmik I really want to be u but it's just not... in the cards" and told her 232 million followers, "Help me! Guess who doesn't know how to do drag make-up? Love you."

She then added another story zooming in on her face and said, "Love you so much!" while again tagging Gottmik and writing "I MEANT WELL @GOTTMIK".

Of course, after spotting Ariana's efforts, Gottmik responded by sharing the Stories on their own account and commended the singer on her skills, "Ok honestly I live my gorge twin 😂🔥"

Speaking about their journey into the world of drag, Gottmik (real name Kade Gottlieb) recently told Vogue that they initially started playing with make-up while in school, "The only type of makeup that excited me was crazy, over-the-top drag makeup. I always loved to paint and draw, so I was like, I can do this on my face." They've since gone on to work with huge names such as Kaia Gerber, Paris Hilton, and Lil Nas X.

Honestly, we couldn't be more obsessed with Ariana for deciding to just spend a casual Thursday trying to channel her Drag Race fave. Can we please request that you recreate a Bimini Bon-Boulash or Tayce face next week, Ari? If you need some inspiration, look no further (you're welcome)...
