Yahoo Movies Ariana Grande just secretly married Dalton Gomez during an intimate ceremony!
Congratulations are in order: Ariana Grande just surprised everyone and privately married Dalton Gomez during a sweet, intimate service last weekend! The singer has been dating the luxury real estate agent for around eighteen months and the happy news was confirmed by her representative, who said the service was attended by just 20 people.
Issuing a statement to the PA news agency, Ariana's spokesperson said, "They got married. It was tiny and intimate - less than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn't be happier." Aww!
The couple initially announced their engagement back in December, but neither Ariana or Dalton had made any mention publicly of their firm plans to wed. No photos have been shared on social media (yet!) either. Although it seems that the pair mostly like to keep things pretty low-key, Dalton did make an appearance alongside Ariana in her self-shot video for, Stuck With U - collab with Justin Bieber.
TMZ are also reporting that the ceremony took place at Ariana's home in Montecito, about an hour or so outside of LA (and where Oprah and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also reside... wonder if they made the guest list?).
So, what else do we know about Dalton (besides that he obviously makes our gal Ari super happy)? According to E! News, a source previously said, "They run in the same circle[s], he used to be a dancer and they have many mutual friends. She’s gotten to know him quickly with the quarantine [and] they’ve been spending a lot of one on one time at home."
Dalton now has a career that takes him out of the limelight - he works as a luxury real estate agent in Beverly Hills, no less - and according to his professional bio, he's a born and raised Southern California native who "now holds one of the largest rolodexes of A-list buyers". It adds that he is "quickly becoming an industry titan" too. Very impressive!
He's definitely got the seal of approval from Ariana's family too, as after their engagement was announced, Ariana's mum, Joan, posted on social media, "I am so excited to welcome Dalton Gomez into our family! Ariana, I love you and Dalton so much!!!! Here's to happily ever after! YAY! xoxoxo"
We're sending all our best wishes to Ari and Dalton (and keeping our fingers crossed for a wedding outfit pic at some point in future too!).
