Another Miami Miracle, but this time for True North. Columbus golf wins again. Bowling and more

Another Miami Miracle as the True North football team edged Archbishop Coleman Carroll 33-28.

What a finish.

True North scored with 45 seconds to play to go ahead 27-21.

The Bulldogs did not quit, scoring with one second remaining to tie the game. True North then blocked the extra point, but a roughing the kicker penalty gave Archbishop Coleman Carroll another chance, and freshman kicker Ethan Silva took advantage, converting the PAT, which ignited a Bulldogs celebration, leading 28-27.

On the ensuing kickoff -- the final play -- True North took a page from the University of Miami special teams playbook (vs. Duke 2015) and Miami Dolphins special teams chart (vs. New England 2018).

JonJon Delgado of the Titans received the kickoff and lateraled to Jasen “J-Roc” Lopez, who returned the ball to Delgado. He then ran toward the other sideline, before turning and lateraling the ball via legal backward pass to the middle of the field, where Josh Reyes caught it and motored toward the opposite sideline, racing 70 yards for the miraculous winning TD.
