Anne Heche revealed who she wanted to play her in a biopic, months before her death

Anne Heche gave two suggestions for who she would want to portray her in a biopic — months before her death Sunday.

"Behind the Velvet Rope" podcast host David Yontef shared a new episode Tuesday with Heche as the guest star, noting the discussion took place "earlier this year."

Heche died at age 53, nine days after she was pulled from a burning car and hospitalized in critical condition following a crash in Los Angeles on Aug. 5.

In the posthumously-released podcast, the "Another World" star shared without hesitation that "Miley Cyrus or Kristen Bell" would be her top picks to play her in a biopic. She explained that Cyrus, 29, and Bell, 42, "share a personality and ability to face the world the in a way that I would want portrayed."

Heche praised Cyrus for being "bold" as a child star and being a "pure, pure artist engaging with the world with the best time they could ever possibly have."

"That's why Miley and I think she's a great actress," she added.

Heche and Bell played a mother-daughter duo in the 2004 Lifetime movie "Gracie's Choice," which would lend itself to a biopic.

"Kristen, again, felt like a reflection to me," Heche said. "Her ability to tell a story, do it through joy, do it with her personality, charm, gorgeous timing and humor. I see myself a lot in her. I don't think it's any mistake that I played her mom, and now I want her to play me."

Elsewhere in the interview, she revealed she eventually wanted to work with Owen Wilson, Tom Cruise and "Bridesmaids" stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Rebel Wilson, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne and Ellie Kemper.

On Friday, Heche was declared brain dead following the fiery crash, but remained on life support while she was evaluated as an organ donor. On Sunday evening, her representative Holly Baird told USA TODAY that Heche had been "peacefully taken off life support."

The actress drove her car into a home in Mar Vista, which erupted in flames. Without identifying the driver at the time, Tony Im, a public information officer for the Los Angeles Police Department, confirmed to USA TODAY that a crash occurred at 10:55 a.m. Aug. 5. A representative for Heche later confirmed the accident to The Associated Press.

Heche was alone in the car and no one in the house was injured.
