Andy Cohen: Here’s why I cursed at this ‘Real Housewives of Miami’ star

Andy Cohen had some explaining to do.

Word leaked that the Bravo mogul minced no words during the “Real Housewives of Miami” season five reunion episode and yelled at Larsa Pippen.

Inquiring minds wanted to know. Was Cohen mad about the mother of four flaunting her hot and heavy relationship with Michael Jordan’s son without consulting the Peacock folks?

Nope. Turns out Boss Man wasn’t pleased with the way she spoke down to a fellow castmate, Dr. Nicole Martin, a renowned anesthesiologist at UHealth.

During Monday’s SiriusXM “Radio Andy,” the 54-year-old New Yorker admitted to his fans what went down and what set him off.

“[I] do want to give you a little more inside tea, which everyone was speculating,” said the “Watch What Happens Live” host. “I posted something saying, ‘I yelled at Larsa and I apologize, Larsa.’ And so people have been trying to figure out, well, what did I yell at her about? What did I get so heated about? And I, to be honest with you, I kind of remembered, but then when I saw the clips, I was like, ah-ha.’”

Pippen apparently struck a nerve when she told Martin that her three-year-old son Greyson with her fiance lawyer Anthony Lopez was “born out of wedlock.”

That zinger hit home for Cohen, who is a single dad of two. Little Lucy has her first birthday in April and Ben turned 4 in February. Both children were born via surrogates.

“Like, she was saying, ‘I could be calling out that your son was born out of wedlock,’” Cohen dished, adding Pippen “weaponized” her words and threw in a wee bit of gaslighting, which upset the host.

“Nicole kept saying, ‘You called my son a bastard!’ and [Larsa] said, ‘I didn’t! I just said he was born out of wedlock,” Cohen relayed, then admitted he told the jewelry designer, “That was an a--hole thing to say.”

Pippen has had no comment on the matter but she is in love so probably isn’t really too bothered either way.

A recent Instagram post saw her with noticeably plumper pout.
