Noel Gallagher’s daughter Anais has opened up on the downside of having parents famous for partying.

The 20-year-old model said that people assume she is a wild child because of the headline-grabbing behaviour of her Oasis star father and his former wife Meg Mathews.

Anais revealed that landlords have refused to let her flats because they assume she will host daily parties.

Noel and Mathews, who married in 1997 and divorced in 2001, were regular fixtures in tabloid newspapers throughout their relationship and were well-known for their hard-partying lifestyle. Mathews later became teetotal after a stint in rehab

Anais said their reputation still has an impact, two decades later, on how people see her.

She told The Mirror: "I’ve not got apartments that I’ve tried to rent because of it. The landlords are thinking I’m going to have mad ones every night.

"My ex-boyfriend’s family were like, 'Does she drink a lot? Does she do drugs?'

"I don’t drink. Having parents who’ve been a bit crazy made me go the opposite way."

Speaking on Matt Morgan's Funny How? podcast earlier this year, High Flying Birds and Oasis guitarist Noel described 1995 to 1998 as his “crazy years”, which resulted in “brutal” panic attacks.

He said: "I had a few really f****** brutal, aggressive panic attacks which is why I quit [drugs].”

And Mathews told The Sun last year why she thinks her daughter avoids hedonism.

“Maybe because she’s seen what it can do,” she said.

“In my teens and 20s I just wanted to go to the pub and get smashed, but Anais doesn’t smoke, doesn’t drink and doesn’t party at all.”
