Yahoo Movies 'American Idol' Star Luke Bryan’s Wife Hilariously One-Upped Him After He Trash Talked

As someone who lives in the public eye, you'd think American Idol judge Luke Bryan wouldn't shy away from most things. Well, his wife Caroline "Lina" Boyer Bryan managed to find a way to outdo him, proving that there are certain situations the country music singer struggles with.
In a recent video on Instagram, Lina gave her followers a look at summer life with the "Country On" singer. The clip showed the couple sitting in a boat in the middle of a lake. Luke then told his wife that she wouldn't be able to handle diving into the freezing cold water. Not one to back away from a challenge, she didn't hesitate further and dove backwards into the water. So, did the American Idol star also have a tough as nails attitude? Not exactly ...
"Luke said I couldn’t take it," she captioned the July 22 clip. "Watch to see who the big baby is 🥶."
American Idol fans were amazed by Lina's bravery and many quickly let her know in the comments section.
"You go girl!!! Show him how it’s done 🤪," one person wrote. "I think we all know who the strongest in the family is now!!!💪🏻🥳," another follower applauded. "You’re a trooper. Luke not so much 😂😂😂," a different fan said.
Well, this confirms Lina's prepared to test the waters (literally) in order to emerge victorious. Speaking of Luke, the "One Margarita" artist didn't seem to be feeling the temperature of the lake, because fans cackled at him huffing and puffing before inching his way in.
"Oh my gosh," the "That's My Kind of Night" vocalist pleaded to his wife of 16 years while sitting on the edge of their boat. "God, once I go though, I'm gone." Her reaction? "I'll get you!" she said.
Needless to say, Lina and Luke's flair for hysterics is always a highlight. And should they decide to bring their antics to the newest season of American Idol, we have a feeling no one would be opposed to it.
