The cold weather can be kind of a bummer. Once we hit the dog days of winter, we need to find things to look forward to...and what could be better to have on the horizon than a few boxes of Girl Scout cookies?! Yes, Girl Scout cookie season is here, and scoring a box (or four!) of your favorite cookie has never been easier.

When does the 2023 Girl Scout Cookie Season start?

The season is recognized each year from January to April, but what troops near you have planned for cookie sales will vary. You can head over to the Girl Scouts website and input your zip code to get detailed information about where to find cookies near you.

How can I get my cookies?

Before the pandemic, cookie lovers had to seek out physical booths to get their hands on a box. Since then the scouts sprang into action to adapt their selling tactics. Now you can get cookies delivered by ordering online from your local troop.

If you know a Girl Scout, reach out to them to see how they're selling cookies this year. They'll provide you with a personalized cookie website, mobile app, email, or individualized link to make your purchase.

If you don't happen to know a Girl Scout, visit www.girlscoutcookies.org, text COOKIES to 59618, or use the official Girl Scout Cookie Finder app for free on iOS or Android devices in order to find cookie booths near you.

But what if there aren't any cookie booths in your area? Don't worry, the Girl Scouts have you covered. Starting February 27, 2023, you can order cookies for delivery on www.girlscoutcookies.org.

Which cookies will be available?

Again, this depends on where you live, but you should expect some fan favorites like Thin Mints, Trefoils, Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs, and Caramel DeLites/Samoas. Use the Cookie Finder app to see which flavors are available near you.

There's also a new cookie on the block called the Raspberry Rally. This Thin Mint-inspired treat features a crispy raspberry cookie covered in a layer of chocolate.     A baby and a woman were injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Billerica, Massachusetts.
