Yahoo Movies Aldi Is Selling An Olive Dip That Tastes Like A Dirty Martini
It is my opinion that the "classiest" cocktails should always be paired with delicious, salty, greasy junk food. Got a glass of champagne? That would go perfectly with some french fries, IMO. Oh, how about a perfectly dry and cold glass of white wine? Please get some chips to eat while sipping it, thanks so much. So it only stands to reason that the good folks at Aldi would take notice and blend all the flavor of fancy booze into one of their iconic dips.
Aldi is currently selling a Dirty Martini dip that, while not exactly boozy, is perfect for fans of the drink it's named after. It's made with green olives, blue cheese, and cream cheese, making it the perfect companion to pretzels, chips, veggies, and, yes, a perfect dirty martini.
If that doesn't exactly suit you, no worries. Instagrammer @aldiallthetime showed off three of the olive-inspired dips that the chain is selling right now. In addition to Dirty Martini Dip, you can also pick up Muffuletta Olive Dip made with New Orleans style olive salad, Neufchâtel cheese, and cajun spices, as well as Greek Olive Dip made with Kalamata olives, Neufchâtel cheese, roasted red peppers, and feta cheese. No matter which you try, it's certainly a great time to be an olive fan at Aldi! Now all that's left to do is figure out what kind of booze you're going to pair with these last two...I'm personally going with a nice merlot, but you do you, baby!
