Alabama student charged after being found naked following Tide's title game win

Alabama football success makes some people want to take their clothes off, apparently.

A 19-year-old male Alabama student was charged with lewdness after police found him naked at approximately 5 a.m. Tuesday in the hours after Alabama’s National Championship Game win over Georgia.

The student was on the front porch of a university office building. From the Tuscaloosa News:

“Upon our arrival, I saw a white male sitting on the porch naked with his clothes scattered in various places,” a UAPD officer wrote in the arrest report. ”(The student) stated that he had been drinking earlier in the night and didn’t know how he ended up there.”

Per the report, the student was released from jail after posting a $300 bond.

We understand the joy that comes with seeing your team win a championship in incredible fashion with a 41-yard overtime touchdown pass from a freshman to another freshman. But we don’t understand wanting to get naked. Hopefully he wasn’t too cold.
