Ever since Drake Milligan earned a standing ovation with his energetic America’s Got Talent season 17 audition, fans have awaited his return to the stage. On last night’s episode of the NBC singing competition show, the country singer made an epic comeback — but it's only a taste of what he's got in store.

Before his live performance during the quarterfinals, Drake revealed on Instagram that he’s ready to take his talent on the road with new songs. That’s right — though the Texas native has only performed two songs on AGT, he announced that he’s coming out with his first album fittingly titled after his hometown.

“It’s been a long time comin’!” he wrote on August 8. “My debut album Dallas/Fort Worth will be available on September 15th! I am so proud of all 14 songs on this record and I can’t wait to share it with y’all.”

Reacting to Drake’s Instagram post, AGT fans took to his Instagram comments section with heartfelt messages for the rising artist.

“This is amazing news!! 🙌👏🙌👏,” one person wrote. “So exciting!! can’t wait to hear it!!!! 🥳🤠,” another added. “Heard you on agt wow what a new sound for country they're right the Elvis Presley of country music is here ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” a different fan said.

What’s more, he followed up this exciting news with an even bigger one. The AGT contestant unveiled a lineup for an upcoming tour kicking off this month. “We’re hitting the road, y’all! Head to the link in my bio to grab your 🎟 now!” Drake captioned an Instagram post listing more than a dozen stops.

Whether or not he becomes the next AGT winner, it’s clear he’s already made quite the impression on fans and judge Simon Cowell too.

"A lot of people after performing in the auditions and their song goes to no. 1, they would just walk away and not compete,” he said on the show. “The fact that happened and you still come back to compete in this competition ... I think you are the real deal. You’re a great songwriter. You have charisma … The best performance of the night."
