AFCON 2022 fixtures: Quarter-final dates, UK kick-off times, match schedules and venues for knockout stage

This weekend saw the final eight teams do battle in the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals.

Plenty of big names have already been knocked out of the tournament, but there are four heavyweights through to the semi-finals, dreaming of lifting the trophy.

Cameroon continued their run, roared on by the home fans, with a 2-0 victory against AFCON debutants Gambia.

Burkina Faso are also through to the semi-finals, as they edged past Tunisia 1-0 in a tight affair.

Egypt needed extra-time before eventually making it through, with Mo Salah getting a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win over Morocco.

The semi-final lineup was completed after Senegal beat Equatorial Guinea 3-1, as they keep their hopes of a first ever AFCON title alive.
