Aerial Footage Shows Electra Fire Burning in California's Amador County

The Electra Fire spanned 3,034 acres and was zero percent contained as of Tuesday, July 5, according to Cal Fire.

Aerial videos captured by the Orange County Fire Authority’s Fire Integrated Real Time Intelligence System (FIRIS) show the Electra Fire burning in the hills of Amador County just after midnight and at approximately 8:35 am local time on July 5.

- Orange County Fire Intel 24, July 5, 2022 at 15 minutes past the hour of midnight. We're looking at the electric incident over Amador County. The bottom of your screen is the northern end of the fire. Over towards the far right of the screen is where the initial fire was mapped this afternoon at approximately 959 acres by Intel 12. And then tonight's mapping will cover that distance westbound to eastbound, right to the left of the screen.

And that new acreage, encompassed with this afternoon's Intel 12 acreage, total new acreage for the [INAUDIBLE] is 3,034 acres. End of recording.
