Aerial Footage Shows Aftermath of Madrid Explosion

Spain’s Interior Ministry confirmed that at least two people died and at least six were injured following an explosion near the Puerta de Toledo in downtown Madrid on January 20.

At least four floors of a building were destroyed by the explosion. Local news reports said the explosion was believed to have been caused by a gas leak and investigations were underway.
