Adorable Dog Leads London Pride Parade Group in Tiny Car

An adorable pooch in a tiny hot-pink car led a group marching in the London Pride Parade down Piccadilly on Saturday, July 2.

The dog, who was sporting a rainbow bowtie and a backpack, marshaled the group London Friend — a London-based mental health charity — through the parade route.

The July 2 event marked 50 years since the first Pride event in the United Kingdom, according to Pride in London, who organized the event and made note of the fight against continued “injustices and inequalities.”

Pride in London said they wanted the UK government to ban conversion therapy, reform hate crime laws to include LGBT+ communities, establish a national AIDS memorial, and “take a leading role in tackling the violence and discrimination against LGBT+ people around the globe.” Credit: Adam Haworth via Storyful
