Despite what you might think, it appears there are some advantages to looking like Adam Sandler after all.

Max Kessler, the accountant who went viral this week for being Sandler’s doppelganger – plus the fact that weirdly, Sandler is playing a character called Max Kessler in his new film – has gone viral again.

- Reagan family outrage over Will Ferrell dementia comedy
- Emma Thompson sprayed with MANURE at fracking protest
- Watership Down remake to be ‘less brutal’

Kessler and Sandler are now engaged in a weird kind of online dialogue through Reddit, which began with Sandler acknowledging the likeness, but challenging him to match his amusing facial expression.

“But can you do this, Max?” asks Sandler.

Kessler replied with: “Your move.”

Ice broken, Sandler went on to invite the young chap to the premiere and party for ‘The Do-Over’, the movie in question.

The original picture was viewed around five million times, with the story of the peculiar coincidence being picked up around the world.

Kessler told ABC News: “As I am getting older people are noticing it more and more.

“People say I look like him, act like him and sound like him. The amount of people that are freaked out when they first meet me is crazy.”

'The Do-Over’ stars Sandler and David Spade as old school buddies who fake their own deaths.

It’s the second in a raft of movies, following 'The Ridiculous 6’, that Sandler is making for Netflix.
