90 Day Fiancé's Yara Zaya is getting candid about the insecurities she’s had with her body for most of her life.

In a trailer for Monday’s episode of 90 Day: The Last Resort — posted by Entertainment Tonight — Zaya, who is from Ukraine, got emotional when discussing how her upbringing is the reason for her “level of insecurity” when it comes to her body.

"For me, it's cultural," the 28-year-old explained. "My parents, for example, always, always compare me to be somebody different. You need to be perfect. Growing up, my mom, for example, taught me that my nose wasn't so good. Or they tell me I'm chunky or something like that."

"It's just hard," she continued, fighting back tears. "But then I grew up and still think sometimes if I gain two extra pounds then I'm chunky, like, that's just something I cannot freaking cut off."

Zaya then explained that her husband Jovi Dufren “tries to be understanding but he cannot.”

“He’s really secure about himself,” she added.

Zaya’s castmate Molly Hopkins then chimed in urging her to give herself grace when it comes to body image and body positivity.

"Don't be so hard on yourself," Hopkins said. "And I know it's hard. I know how it feels after you've had a baby. But I need you to understand something. You are absolutely stunning. You look amazing. I think you're so beautiful."

“Thank you so much,” Zaya replied.

Back in 2021, during the season 8 tell-all for 90 Day Fiancé, Zaya opened up about her body image and feeling comfortable with turning to plastic surgery in order to learn to love herself.

“I don’t see anything wrong with that. If somebody doesn't like something on themselves, change it. Yes, you need to love yourself the way you are. But if you can’t accept something, it’s OK to change it,” she said at the time. “We are living in 2021, and if you wanna do something, do it.”

“I had an issue, like, my nose is potato. So let me do something to that,” she continued. “Four years ago, I was doing my lips too. And again, how I say, there is nothing wrong with surgery if you don’t like something and accept it on yourself. I was not accepting myself when I looked in the mirror, and I had to fix the situation.”
