9 Idaho Cities Where Home Prices Are Skyrocketing

Idaho has experienced a population surge in recent years. From 2020 to 2021, the state led the U.S. in growth, with Americans moving to The Gem State to access affordable housing, natural beauty, safe cities and towns, and good schools.

Although moves to Idaho have since been waning, cities across the state saw home prices jump significantly since 2020, with nine cities seeing surges of 50% or more over the past two years, according to data analyzed by moveBuddha.

Here’s a look at the Idaho cities where home prices have skyrocketed.

1. Stanley, Idaho

  • Population growth from 2010 to 2020: 90%

  • Average home value in 2020: $520,247

  • Average home value in 2022: $874,146

  • Increase in home value from 2020 to 2022: 68%

2. Twin Falls, Idaho

  • Population growth from 2010 to 2020: 17%
