Next week on Hollyoaks, more twists and turns unfold in the George Kiss murder mystery as the killer is finally revealed.

Elsewhere, Martine's loved ones rally round to support her, and Darren prepares to confess his feelings for Nancy.

Here's a full collection of nine big moments coming up.

1. Theresa asks James for help

Theresa becomes desperate to take action after figuring out the identity of the witness who falsely put John Paul at the scene of the crime for George's murder.

DS Cohen doesn't believe Theresa's claims and threatens to arrest her for wasting police time if she continues interfering in the investigation.

Theresa refuses to give up and decides to ask for James's help with the situation instead.

2. James makes a move that could upset Ste

Ste fears that it may only be a matter of time before James's feelings for John Paul are reignited. James agrees to make Ste feel more secure by no longer working on John Paul's case.

James is unable to keep this promise and soon goes behind Ste's back in order to help Theresa trap the lying witness. Leah realises what James is up to when she overhears a conversation between him and the McQueens.

3. John Paul is released from prison

Theresa's efforts pay off when John Paul is released from prison due to the witness being exposed as a liar. Despite this positive news for the McQueens, John Paul remains a prime suspect in the murder case so isn't out of the woods yet.

Once he's back in the village, John Paul has a heart-to-heart with his son Matthew-Jesus about why he went away in the first place.

4. Tension grows between Ste and James

When Ste discovers that James betrayed his trust by helping John Paul, the scheming lawyer can't help telling more lies to get himself out of trouble. Leah is livid when Ste chooses to take James's side over hers.

Ste later discovers that he was wrong to disbelieve Leah, so once again struggles to forgive James for being deceitful. When James makes a heartfelt apology to Leah, she decides to help him win over Ste again.

5. George's killer is revealed

After weeks of speculation, viewers are about to be put in the picture over who really killed George. The drama starts when someone in the village tries to cover their tracks, but accidentally leads the police straight to the murder weapon.

As the walls close in on one villager, flashbacks will show what really happened in George's final moments. George's killer then prepares to come clean and reveal the truth.

6. Martine's family worry about her

Martine is struggling after the news that she has breast cancer. The Deveraux family are forced to hold an intervention for her at The Hutch after she makes a surprising decision about her treatment.

Martine takes the opportunity to open up to her family about her mum's own experience with cancer.

7. Martine stands up for herself

Martine meets up with the woman who previously interviewed her for the Businesswoman of the Year award. Now that Martine has won the prize, they discuss what's next.

When the woman is rude again, Martine stands up for herself and the difficult encounter helps her to come to a realisation.

Later in the week, Martine also has a heart-to-heart with Misbah about how she doesn't want breast cancer to define her.

8. Nancy comes to a realisation

Darren tries to impress Nancy by surprising her with a meditation session in order to help with her stress.

Darren is also keen to properly reunite with Nancy, so he plans to finally tell her how he really feels. Sadly, Brooke unwittingly interrupts Darren's efforts.

With the moment gone, Darren backs down. Later, Nancy is surprised to realise what Darren was going to ask her.

Nancy arranges to spend some time with Darren at The Hutch, but ultimately stands him up. Celeste offers to keep a lonely Darren company instead.

9. Cher continues to torment Mercedes

Cher's nasty plan continues as she makes Mercedes' life a misery with the baby crying noises, which are seemingly coming from nowhere. Cher skilfully hides her animosity towards Mercedes by agreeing to give her a makeover.

Cher is surprised by how much she gets along with Mercedes as they spend time in each other's company, but she can't help feeling jealous when her stepmum receives a number of complimentary messages on social media about her new look.

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
