6 useful Siri hacks you probably aren't using
Digital assistants are standard on many smart devices now.
Apple's Siri can be accessed across different Apple products, including iPhone, AirPods, MacBook, and iPad, by either touching a button or speaking a phrase.
It can be beneficial when looking for a quick answer about something, but Siri has a variety of other useful features.
Whether you need the assistant to help you find a lost item, call someone, translate, or change how it says something, it can all be done by uttering the one magic phrase: "Hey, Siri."
Watch the video above to learn more about Siri features on iPhone.
Hey Siri
Hey Siri:
How much should I tip?
Quickly calculating a tip can be difficult, so let Siri do the number-crunching! Just ask Siri something like, "How much is 15% of $20?"
How do I say…?
Siri is multi-lingual, so it can help you translate a word or phrase with ease.
Call me...
Siri defaults to calling you by the name in your phone.
To change it, just say, "Hey Siri, call me X."
Find my AirPods
Can't find those tiny little earbuds? Ask Siri to help!

This person is...
Let Siri know who important people are in your life.
Just say, "Hey Siri, Jane Doe is my mom."
Then, when you say, "Hey Siri, call my mom," the digital assistant will call Jane Doe.
This is how you pronounce...
The digital assistant doesn't always say names right. To teach it the correct way, add a phonetic pronunciation.
To add a pronunciation:
Go to the contact card
Tap Edit
Tap "add field"
Select a pronunciation name field
Type in how to say the name
Harry Potter
If you're a fan of Harry Potter, Siri responds to some spells!
Tell Siri "Lumos" to activate the flashlight.
To turn it off, just say, "Hey, Siri, Nox."
