Shoppers love Anker mostly for two reasons: its premium quality tech and affordable prices. While thousands of Amazon shoppers have purchased the brand’s new Nano USB-C fast charger (thanks to Apple no longer including one with its latest iPhones), there’s another product that’s even more popular and costs only $2 more.
The star product in question is Anker’s PowerPort Cube USB power strip that has over 20,000 shoppers talking.
When one thinks of a power strip, there’s usually one image that comes to mind: something that looks a bit like this. Standard power strips are usually long and rectangular and some of the most premium models even lack in the ports department.
The PowerPort Cube sets itself apart from the rest in both its form-factor and port quantity.
The popular device is small enough to cup in the palm of your hand and features six ports overall (three outlets and three USB ports). It also has a five-foot cable for extensive reachability as well as high-speed charging. Also, for those who usually need to bend to the floor to plug in their devices, the PowerPort Cube sticks to any surface for easy access.
All-in-all, this product has reinvented the idea of power strips for shoppers. With over 18,000 five-star reviews on Amazon and an overall customer rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars, it’s definitely delivering based on customers’ thoughts.
The only con a couple of reviewers had for the product is that it lacks USB-C ports. However, most power strips on the market don’t support USB-C — just USB-A (pictured above). The same shopper stressed that this product is well made, specifically adding that the “wire is durable.”
