1. caliray Freedreaming Clean Blurring Skin Tint, $39 & Glazed & Infused Lip Plumper Gloss, $19
California-inspired beauty brand caliray just launched in October 2021 and is already racking up a major fan base. Founded by Wende Zomnir, the founder of Urban Decay, and Jenna Dover, caliray is on a mission to become the go-to when you’re after that no-makeup makeup look.
Two of the brand’s newest clean and planet-positive launches from earlier this month include the Freedreaming Clean Blurring Skin Tint and the Glazed & Infused Lip Plumper Gloss. The hydrating skin tint comes in 10 different shades and offers light yet buildable coverage to give you a blurred effect. The high-shine lip gloss is available in six colors and contains avocado oil as well as a “biomimetic peptide to plump your lips now and over time.”
2. Herbivore NOVA 15% Vitamin C + Turmeric Brightening Serum, $64
Herbivore’s latest launch may be perfect for you if you struggle with dullness, dark spots or hyperpigmentation. The NOVA 15% Vitamin C + Turmeric Brightening Serum gently works to brighten and even your skin and is suitable for all skin types. Like all Herbivore products, NOVA is 100% natural and doesn’t have any added fragrances, but you can expect a slight ginger scent upon application due to the antioxidant-rich ingredient turmeric.
Besides vitamin C and turmeric, NOVA also contains Kakadu plum and bearberry arbutin, which work to improve your skin’s appearance. The brand recommends applying one to two pumps of the serum to your skin after washing but before moisturizing.
3. Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Primer, $56
Hourglass’ Vanish Airbrush Primer is the newest product to join the brand’s popular Vanish collection. Besides just extending the life of your makeup, this translucent, gel-like primer also “smooths skin, controls shine and provides a blurred, airbrushed finish.”
The vegan, cruelty-free formula is great for those looking to minimize the appearance of their pores as well as absorb oil. The brand reports that 96% of participants in a consumer test said that oil was absorbed all day, their skin instantly looked more even, and their texture was improved.
4. Charlotte Tilbury Matte Eyes to Mesmerise, $34
Charlotte Tilbury’s newest eye product is Matte Eyes to Mesmerise, described as a creamy matte eye shadow. Perfect for those who don’t want to spend 15 minutes in front of the mirror crafting a smokey eye, this cream eye shadow features a soft-focus finish and is easy to swipe on and go.
Available in five shades, including Nude Cashmere and Chocolate Veil, these shadows can easily be built upon but also look beautiful on their own. Plus, these shadows are long-lasting, thanks to the formula’s water-resistant film formers, which essentially “create a flexible, water-resistant film.”
