2022 NCAA Div. I softball tournament: Results, schedule, game times, TV info, bracket

The road to the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City is mapped out as super regionals in the NCAA Division I softball tournament are underway.

Defending national champion Oklahoma has been ranked No. 1 in the nation all season long and entered the NCAA Tournament as the top overall seed and prohibitive favorite to win a sixth national title.

Florida State, last year's WCWS runner-up and the 2018 champion, earned the second overall seed but were stunned in the regionals when Mississippi State beat the Seminoles twice on FSU's home field to send one of the co-favorites packing. No. 6 seed Alabama, No. 11 Tennessee, No. 13 seed Washington and No. 15 seed Missouri were also eliminated in regionals.

The Women's College World Series begins on June 2.
