This Olympian eats so much food that he can drink 12 beers without feeling hungover
U.S. Olympic shot put gold-medalist Ryan Crouser is a big man with an even bigger diet. The 6-foot-7, 300-pound athlete eats 6,000 calories per day.
In an interview with the New York Post, the gold-medalist revealed he could drink 12 beers and still wake up feeling like a champ the next morning.
"It depends on the type of beer," the 23-year-old explained. "If it's something easy like a Bud Light, I can take down a 12-pack and still have an effective workout the next morning."

All of this makes some sense with the intense amount of food he consumes. He said he once gained five whole pounds after a single meal.
"I was super-hungry after a crazy weight sesson, so I decided to weigh myself before and after dinner," he said.
"I had a bowl of white rice, a bowl of brown rice, a plate stacked with chicken, a giant bowl of mac and cheese. I love mac and cheese. It's a great weight gainer because of all the carbs and fat."
"So after I ate all that plus dessert, I got on the scale and I was 5 pounds heavier than before," Crouser said.
