Bernie Sanders lookalike uses 'I am not Bernie' shirt to keep fans away
A man spotted in California bares a striking resemblance to Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders and in an effort to keep Berners at bay, he wears a white sweatshirt that reads "I am not Bernie."
Multiple images have begun to surface, and folks on social media have been chatting about it for weeks.
Reddit user Dasbeardog posted the now-viral photo of the Sanders doppelgänger in a FedEx store to Reddit's r/pics. Even though the man's face isn't entirely visible, the image still made quite a stir.
The photo quickly made Reddit's front page and other users chimed in with photos of their own sightings. HatFullOfGasoline shared a photo of the Bernie lookalike climbing some stairs, while edogman9955 posted a photo with him at a Sanders campaign office.

One leading theory on the mysterious doppelgänger's identity has led back to a segment from June done by NBC Los Angeles. The short piece centers around Jeff Jones -- who looks uncannily similar to the Vermont senator.

During the NBC report, Jones tricked some L.A. residents and showed off his t-shirts. One reads 'I am not Bernie" just like the photo that appeared on Reddit, and another reads "I am not Larry David either."
