That's right, it's Danny Almonte.

In the summer of 2001, a major controversy led to the disqualification of the Bronx baseball team from the Little League World Series. At the center of the drama was a quiet 14-year-old kid who was exposed by Sports Illustrated as being too old to have competed in the tournament.

The story instantly caught national attention, and after lighting up the radar gun and tossing a perfect game in the 2001 Little league World Series, his team was forced to forfeit its wins.

ESPN made a mini-documentary 12 years after the fact entitled 'Kid Danny' in which Almonte finally tells the truth about one of the strangest chapters in youth sports history -- as ESPN put it, a hoax that would forever change the way people view amateur athletics in America.

What's he doing now? Almonte, 28, still loves the game and serves as an assistant coach on the Cardinal Hayes High School baseball team in the Bronx.
