'America's Most Wanted' fugitive caught in Mexico 25 years later

After nearly 25 years on the run, fugitive Paul Jackson has been captured by Mexican immigration officials.

Jackson is accused of kidnapping and raping two women in Oregon with his half-brother, Vance Roberts.

Prosecutors say the two chained up their victims for several days in a "house of horrors" complete with barred windows, handcuffs and guns.

The two were indicted by a grand jury in 1990 but they fled the following year. Roberts, who was profiled on "America's Most Wanted" during his time on the run, turned himself in after 15 years and is currently serving out a 108-year prison sentence.

Jackson was arrested in downtown Guadalajara Tuesday. Officials say the capture was due in large part to a tip that came in after he was profiled on CNN's "The Hunt With John Walsh" that aired in July. In the episode he described Jackson as "one of the most wanted guys."

Authorities believe there have been other victims since Jackson fled in 1991.

He is expected to be deported back to Oregon after formal extradition proceedings in Mexico.
